Rear Seat Reminder (Select Vehicles)

What’s the Benefit?

This feature alerts drivers to the possible presence of passengers or items in the rear seat before exiting the vehicle, enhancing awareness.


The Feature:

The rear seat reminder is designed to work automatically:

  • The system activates when the vehicle is turned off if any rear door was opened shortly before or after the vehicle was started.
  • A reminder appears in the driver information interface (DII) and an alert sounds to remind drivers to check the rear seats.
