North American Charging Standard (NACS)

Definition

NACS reflects an effort to standardize the charging plug for electric vehicles across North America. Also identified as SAE J3400, this configuration enables vehicles to be charged with both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) systems. Honda will adopt this standard for all battery electric vehicles beginning with the 2025 model year.
