Automatic Tensioning System (All)

Definition

The front 3-point seat belts on all Honda models are equipped with an automatic-tensioning system and load limiters. In the event of a moderate-to-severe impact, this system is designed to instantly tighten the shoulder and lap harnesses to help hold the driver and front passenger in place. The load limiters allow the seat belts to relieve their tension slightly after the automatic-tensioning system is activated.
