What’s the Benefit?

In addition to all the benefits provided by the USB Audio Interface, this available USB port enables owners to enjoy a variety of smartphone functions with hands-free ease.


The Feature:

The USB Smartphone/Audio Interface2 enables owners connect their compatible smartphones to the vehicle’s available Display Audio/touch-screen system and operate a wide variety of apps by voice control with Apple CarPlay®16 or Android Auto™17.

  • After connecting their iPhone®46, CarPlay® users can access various functions by engaging Siri with a long press on the TALK button.
  • While already installed on Android 10 models, Android 9 and earlier users must first download the Android Auto app; then they can connect their phone by USB cable and engage The Google Assistant to operate various features by a long press on the TALK button.
