Electric Parking Brake with Automatic Brake Hold (Select Vehicles)

What’s the Benefit?

The electric parking brake provides a higher level of ease and sophistication when operating the parking brake, while the automatic brake-hold feature helps ease the stress of driving in stop-and-go traffic.


The Feature:

The electric parking brake with automatic brake hold is standard on select models.

  • Instead of the traditional hand lever or foot pedal for the parking brake, owners can simply use the electric parking brake switch to set or release the vehicle’s parking brake.
  • Once activated by pushing the BRAKE HOLD button, automatic brake hold maintains braking pressure when the driver brakes to a stop, such as in stop-and-go traffic, and releases the brakes when the driver applies the accelerator.
