Trail Torque Logic (Select Vehicles)

What’s the Benefit?

The ruggedness of select Honda vehicles is further amplified with Trail Torque Logic, enhancing their ability to keep moving over extremely uneven surfaces.


The Feature:

Select vehicles feature Trail Torque Logic.

  • This feature of the i-VTM4® system is actuated when Trail mode is selected.
  • When the system detects that a rear wheel has left the surface, it directs additional torque to the rear differential—and the majority of that torque is sent to the wheel still on the ground.
  • In addition, if the system detects that a front wheel has left the surface, the AWD system uses brake vectoring to channel more torque to the front wheel with grip.
