Steering Wheel-Mounted Controls

What’s the Benefit?

Having many frequently used controls on the steering wheel enables drivers to operate several features conveniently while helping to minimize the possibility of driver distraction.


The Feature:

The Civic Type R steering wheel has two sets of controls.

  • The left-hand set operates the Driver Information Interface (DII) and controls select audio-system features. 
  • The Bluetooth®1 HandsFreeLink® and navigation system voice-recognition button is on the left as well.
  • The right-hand set operates the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)13 and Lane-Keeping Assist System (LKAS)11.
