What’s the Benefit?

Aluminum alloy is much lighter than cast iron, helping improve performance and fuel efficiency36 while offering superior heat-transfer characteristics for better heat management.


The Feature:

Honda uses aluminum-alloy castings for major components such as the cylinder block, cylinder head and transmission cases.
