What’s the Benefit?

The ruggedness of every Passport trim is further amplified with Trail Torque Logic, enhancing the vehicle’s ability to keep moving over extremely uneven surfaces. 

The Feature:

All Passport trims feature Trail Torque Logic. 

• This feature of the i-VTM4^® system is actuated when Trail mode is selected.
• When the system detects that a rear wheel has left the surface, it directs additional torque to the rear differential—and the majority of that torque is sent to the wheel still on the ground.
• In addition, if the system detects that a front wheel has left the surface, the AWD system uses brake vectoring to channel more torque to the front wheel with grip.
