The electric parking brake provides a higher level of ease and sophistication when operating the parking brake, while the automatic brake-hold feature helps ease the stress of driving in stop-and-go traffic.

The Feature:

The electric parking brake with automatic brake hold is standard on every Passport trim. 

• Instead of the traditional hand lever or foot pedal for the parking brake, Passport owners can simply use the electric parking brake switch to set or release the vehicle’s parking brake.
• Once activated by pushing the BRAKE HOLD button, automatic brake hold maintains braking pressure when the driver brakes to a stop, such as in stop-and-go traffic, and releases the brakes when the driver applies the accelerator.
