Predictive Eco Assist lets the hybrid system plan ahead for upcoming elevation changes in regulating the use and recharging of the battery.

• The system is informed of downhill stretches anticipated on a route that’s been set in the vehicle’s Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System³⁴.
• More power will then be drawn from the battery for the drive motor when cruising on level terrain, reducing the burden on the engine and enhancing fuel efficiency.
• When the downhill section is reached, the system can then take maximum advantage of the regenerative energy provided to recharge the battery.
