How to Use the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)

The Collision Mitigation Braking System* is an available Honda safety feature designed to help reduce the likelihood of a potential collision by alerting the driver. It can also take steps to help reduce the severity of an impact by automatically applying brake pressure if the system determines a collision to be unavoidable. See the video for details.

CMBS cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. System designed to mitigate crash forces. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
