It was a championship day for Honda and Honda Racing Corporation USA as they clinched the NTT INDYCAR SERIES manufacturers' title on August 30, while Alex Palou claimed his fifth IndyCar drivers’ championship.

Kyle Kirkwood kept the Honda streak of inaugural and street course race wins alive on August 23 with a thrilling victory in the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, DC. This victory means Honda has won every street circuit race of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
