What’s the Benefit?

The power liftgate feature provides convenient operation for a diverse group of CR-V buyers, and its stop-and-hold and programmable-height features allow a high level of customization.

The Feature:

CR-V EX-L, TrailSport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid models include a power liftgate.

• It can be operated remotely with the key fob from up to 50 feet away, or by pushing a button from the driver’s seat.
• An electric motor will raise and lower the liftgate.
• When closing, small-statured owners will not have to worry about reaching for the handle, and older owners need not worry about flexibility or strength.
• The driver can also close the liftgate using the button to the left of the steering column or a button on the liftgate itself.
• The stop-and-hold function allows you to push the liftgate switch while it’s opening, so the liftgate will stop immediately—such as to avoid hitting a wall behind the vehicle.
• The programmable-height function is designed to limit how high the liftgate opens with every use; here’s how it works:
  
  • With the liftgate open, simply pull the liftgate down to the desired height; it will hold its position.
  • Then push and hold the liftgate switch until it beeps twice; now the new opening height has been programmed.
