Alexa Built-in75 provides access to the widely used Amazon voice-control feature through a vehicle-based application, so you can use Alexa even if you don’t have your phone.
The Feature:
Alexa Built-in75 is standard equipment on the Civic Type R.
Drivers with an Amazon Alexa account can talk to Alexa through the audio system and stream music, answer questions, control smart home devices and more.
To use the system, drivers must have an active Wi-Fi hotspot in the vehicle and link their Alexa account to the vehicle; to start the process, touch the Alexa icon on the color touch-screen and follow the instructions.
Once the process is complete, drivers can trigger the system by saying “Alexa,” pressing the talk button on the steering wheel or touching the Alexa icon on the color touch-screen.
