Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking Systems (Honda Sensing® features)

What’s the Benefit?

The rear cross traffic alert system helps provide additional awareness for the driver when backing up, and the rear cross traffic braking system is designed to help prevent a possible collision.

The Feature:

The Prologue features rear cross traffic alert⁸³ and braking systems⁸⁴.

• The alert system is designed to detect vehicles approaching within about 65 feet from the side when the Prologue is backing out of a parking space or driveway and alert the driver.
• An audible alert will sound, and a visual indicator will appear in the color touch-screen showing the direction from which the detected vehicle is approaching.
• The rear cross traffic braking system is designed to bring the vehicle to a complete stop if a collision is imminent.
