Electric Parking Brake with Automatic Brake Hold

What’s the Benefit?

The electric parking brake provides a higher level of ease when operating the parking brake, while the automatic brake-hold feature helps reduce the stress of driving in stop-and-go traffic.

The Feature:

Every Prologue trim features an electric parking brake with automatic brake hold.

• Instead of the traditional hand lever or foot pedal for the parking brake, Prologue drivers can simply push the electric parking brake button to the left of the steering column to set or release the vehicle’s parking brake.
• When activated, the automatic brake hold maintains braking pressure after the driver brakes to a halt, such as in stop-and-go traffic, and releases the brakes when the driver applies the accelerator. It’s activated with a button to the left of the steering column as well.
