The remote-start feature raises the comfort and convenience of this vehicle to a luxurious plateau.
The Feature:
Imagine being able to start your Prologue before you get in, so it’ll already be cooled off inside on a hot day—or warmed up and defrosted on a cold one. That’s the idea behind the standard remote-start feature on all Prologue trims.
It works when you’re within about 190 feet of the vehicle.
Just push the button on the remote twice—the turn indicators will flash to show that the request was received, and the parking lights will remain on as long as the vehicle is on.
The automatic climate control system will begin conditioning the interior to the settings previously input in the vehicle.
Remote start will remain on for up to 60 minutes.
To cancel remote start, push the button on the key fob again.
It’s a good idea to use remote start when the vehicle is plugged in to avoid depleting the battery charge and driving range.
