Body-Colored Parking Sensors (Touring and Elite)

What’s the Benefit?

This system helps drivers maneuver in close spaces without touching other vehicles or objects, preserving that new-bumper look.

The Feature:

Sensors embedded in the front and rear bumpers:

• Are body-colored to enhance the exterior styling.
• At speeds below 5 mph, can detect objects that are close to the Odyssey.
• Provide input so the system can issue visual and audible alerts to help the driver carefully guide the vehicle in tight spaces; the audible beeps increase in frequency as the object becomes closer to the bumper.

The system can be turned on and off with a button on the instrument panel. In addition, the rear sensors can be independently disabled when desired, such as while towing a trailer. The procedure is outlined in the owner’s manual.
