What’s the Benefit?
The cross traffic monitor helps provide additional awareness for the driver when backing up.

The Feature:
Pilot Sport and above trims feature a cross traffic monitor.42

  • It’s designed to detect vehicles approaching from the side when the Pilot is backing out of a parking space or driveway, and then alert the driver.
  • An audible alert will sound, and visual indicators in the rearview-camera display will show the direction from which the detected vehicle is approaching.
