The Feature:

SmartVent^® side airbags are installed in both the driver’s and front passenger’s seats.

• In the event of a moderate-to-severe side impact, the SmartVent side airbag is designed to deploy and inflate quickly to maximize potential protection for properly seated occupants.
• It’s designed to protect the driver's or front passenger's upper body from injury, or vent before fully inflating if an occupant is in the side-airbag deployment path, thereby decreasing the likelihood for an airbag-related injury.
