The Passport undergoes a significant update for the 2022 model year. Changes include:

Seriously rugged styling enhancements featuring all-new sheet metal for the front fenders and hood, a bold new grille design, new front and rear bumpers, and new wheels
A new TrailSport trim featuring roof rails, striking 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with rugged-style, all-season tires, a wider track, and unique badging on the outside, plus distinct interior trim featuring all-season floor mats with TrailSport logos, orange stitching in the leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel, amber ambient lighting, unique lighting in the gauges, and embossed TrailSport logos in the front head restraints
Both the TrailSport and Elite windshields feature a new heated zone where the wipers rest, helping to prepare them to clear the windshield in freezing weather
Passport EX-L enrichments including perforated-leather seat inserts and high-contrast stitching
Standard seat-belt reminder for all seating positions and rear seat reminder (RSR) added to all trims
Numerous changes to the exterior color palette
New Post-Production Option Packages including the HPD™ Package developed in conjunction with Honda Performance Development™
Deletion of the Sport and Touring trims
