Display Audio with HondaLink® plus Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ Integration (EX and above)

What’s the Benefit?
Display Audio enables users to engage their audio system as well as select smartphone-based apps on a large, engaging and easy-to-use interface.

The Feature:
Select HR-V trims feature Display Audio with a 7-inch electrostatic touch-screen.

• It is the gateway to many audio sources, vehicle settings, Apple CarPlay^®16 integration, Android Auto™¹⁷ integration and HondaLink^®23 features—and, if equipped, the Garmin-based Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™³⁴.
• To take advantage of all the available features requires a connection between the system and the user’s smartphone via Bluetooth^®1 HandsFreeLink^® and a USB cable plugged into the USB Smartphone/Audio Interface² in the lower deck of the center console.
• After pairing a compatible iPhone^®46 or Android™⁴⁷ phone to Display Audio, the phone’s features populate on the touch-screen—so there’s no need to ever touch the phone while driving.
• Control phone features hands-free—including music and messaging—using Siri^® or The Google Assistant.
• It makes using the phone easier while also reducing the potential for driver distraction.
• Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay^® integration are also compatible with a number of third-party smartphone apps like iHeart Radio.
• When downloaded to the user’s Android™ or iPhone^®, their icons will appear on the touch-screen and can be controlled by voice commands.
• Compatible phones include iPhone 5 and newer, and most Android phones with Lollipop or newer operating system (OS).

The HondaLink^®23smartphone app suite of features includes service-appointment scheduling at Honda dealerships, location searches, weather information, service messages from Honda and much more.

• These features and services become available after downloading the HondaLink^® app from the App Store or Google Play, and then pairing the user’s smartphone to their vehicle.
• Access HondaLink^® features in-car through Display Audio or from anywhere else using the HondaLink^® smartphone app (cell signal required).
