How to Use the Power Tailgate & Hands-Free Access

Your Honda CR-V's power tailgate makes loading cargo easy as can be. Learn the different ways to operate the tailgate, including—on select models—a hands-free power-access tailgate that uses a sensor to detect a kicking motion. The progressive stop and programmable height features let you open the tailgate part-way, so as to avoid striking objects above.
