What’s the Benefit?

Odyssey’s body structure is designed to enhance safety performance by helping to maintain the passenger space within the cabin during a collision.

The Feature:

To improve the structural strength of the passenger cabin, the Odyssey has an “occupant safety ring” made of high-strength steel that surrounds the passenger cabin.

• Designed to remain intact during serious collisions, it works in conjunction with ACE at the front of the vehicle and deformable architecture at the sides and rear.
• In back, a rigid tailgate opening also contributes to overall structural rigidity, interior quietness, ride quality and durability.
