Feature Highlights

Advanced Styling

This all-new Odyssey makes a strong statement on the road.

  • It features an aggressive grille and headlight design up front.
  • Its width-to-height proportion gives it a sporty, action-oriented stance.
  • The distinctive lightning-bolt profile design evolves to a more sophisticated level, and leads to a unique, floating D-pillar.
  • The sliding-door channels are now hidden in the window trim.
  • The cabin tapers to the rear, where LED taillights give it an unmistakable look from behind.

Comfort and Capability

Spacious seating for up to 8 combines with extraordinary versatility.

  • The available Magic Slide 2nd-row seats™ and the legendary one-motion 60/40 split 3rd-row Magic Seat® to create a vast array of people- and cargo-hauling possibilities.
  • Once again, Odyssey can accommodate 4'x8' sheet stock with the 2nd-row seats removed.

All the familiar advanced technologies are present—along with a whole lot more.

  • Of course, there’s Bluetooth®1 HandsFreeLink®, USB Audio Interface2 and the SMS text message function3.
  • On select trims, the CabinTalk™ in-vehicle PA system allows front-seat occupants to address those in the rear cabin via the audio-system speakers or through the RES headphones.
  • CabinWatch™ allows those up front to see video images of 2nd- and 3rd-row passengers on the Display Audio screen.
  • CabinControl™ gives passengers the ability to control various in-vehicle features like the audio system and RES with their compatible smartphones.

Long an Odyssey strong point, on-the-road dynamics achieve even greater levels for 2018.

  • Thanks to its new 3.5-liter direct-injection V-6, Odyssey puts out 280 horsepower at 6000 rpm, and peak torque is now 260 lb-ft at 4700 rpm (both SAE net).
  • On most trims, the power flows through a 9-speed automatic transmission—and the Touring and Elite trims receive Honda’s first-ever 10-speed automatic, for exceptional responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Odyssey’s already impressive cornering ability is further enhanced with a new rear stabilizer bar.

Honda’s safety philosophy means every Odyssey is amply equipped with safety features.

  • Along with the normal complement of front, front side and side curtain airbags, every 2018 Odyssey features knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger—a Honda first.
  • Odyssey EX and above trims come with the Honda Sensing® suite, including the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) and the Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)4.
