• The available Magic Slide 2nd-row seats™ and the legendary one-motion 60/40 split 3rd-row Magic Seat^® to create a vast array of people- and cargo-hauling possibilities.
• Once again, Odyssey can accommodate 4'x8' sheet stock with the 2nd-row seats removed.

Technology

All the familiar advanced technologies are present—along with a whole lot more.

• Of course, there’s Bluetooth^®1 HandsFreeLink^®, USB Audio Interface² and the SMS text message function³.
• On select trims, the CabinTalk™ in-vehicle PA system allows front-seat occupants to address those in the rear cabin via the audio-system speakers or through the RES headphones.
• CabinWatch™ allows those up front to see video images of 2nd- and 3rd-row passengers on the Display Audio screen.

Performance

Long an Odyssey strong point, on-the-road dynamics achieve even greater levels for 2018.

• Thanks to its new 3.5-liter direct-injection V-6, Odyssey puts out 280 horsepower at 6000 rpm, and peak torque is now 260 lb-ft at 4700 rpm (both SAE net).
• On most trims, the power flows through a 9-speed automatic transmission—and the Touring and Elite trims receive Honda’s first-ever 10-speed automatic, for exceptional responsiveness and efficiency.
• Odyssey’s already impressive cornering ability is further enhanced with a new rear stabilizer bar.

Safety

Honda’s safety philosophy means every Odyssey is amply equipped with safety features.

• Along with the normal complement of front, front side and side curtain airbags, every 2018 Odyssey features knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger—a Honda first.
• Odyssey EX and above trims come with the Honda Sensing^® suite, including the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) and the Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)⁴.
